Over New Years Eve we went to the beach for a quick little trip.  We got there, spent the night spent all of New Years Eve day and night there and woke up the next morning and came home.  It was kinda cold and rainy while we were there but it's okay we still had fun!

I snapped a few pictures that I thought that I would share.  The porch on our room had a little gate that opened up the the cute path and also out to the pool.  We of course didn't get in the pool but it made for a cute picture.  They had tea and coffee out in the hallways of the hotel each morning and we got donuts from a place called Duck Donuts that has the best donuts! I think that last picture is a good representation of how the weather was.

We went to a cute little book store while we were there, ate at some cute restaurants and went shopping! It seems like the majority of the businesses at this beach closes from the beginning of January up until March, when spring break starts, so at lot of the stores always have good sales which is always a good thing! We also walked on the beach while we were there and there was nobody out there but us! It was again cold and rainy which probably explained it but there were some really big shells out on the beach (probably because no one else was out there to pick them up).  My brother ended up spotting a huge spiral shell that had a hole in the side of it but was still something that you rarely actually see on the beach so I grabbed it!  We watched the ball drop and I ended up sitting out of the porch of our room for the first hour or two of new years which as kinda cool too.
